That's correct. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers create volume with the injected gel itself, while JUVELOOK Volume encourages the skin to produce collagen on its own to build volume. This is the most fundamental difference between the two treatments.
With an HA filler, the injected material fills the area immediately, so you can see the result right away. In contrast, the PDLLA component in JUVELOOK Volume is absorbed gradually and stimulates the production of your own collagen in that area. However, JUVELOOK Volume also contains an HA carrier, so it provides some immediate volume at first, followed by the collagen effect — a hybrid approach.
In consultations, these two treatments are often compared. A dermal filler is closer to the concept of 'filling in,' while JUVELOOK Volume is closer to 'creating and filling.' The choice depends on your goal.
