JUVGEN uses micro-amounts because its purpose is not to fill but to stimulate collagen production. Conventional HA fillers inject a relatively large volume of gel to create volume, whereas JUVGEN delivers approximately 0.001 cc of hyaluronic acid in micro-doses, alternating with carbon dioxide (CO₂), into multiple spots. This amount is so small that it cannot be compared with the volume used in conventional filler injections.
Because the core of the injection lies in stimulation and response induction, rather than placing a large amount in one spot, a method of dispersing very small amounts widely and densely is used. As a result, the focus is on creating an environment for new collagen formation, rather than leaving physical volume in the dermis.
| Comparison items | Regular HA Filler | JUVGEN |
|---|---|---|
| Injection purpose | Volume filling | Induction of collagen production |
| Injection volume | Relatively large amount | Extremely small, cross-injection |
| Effect mechanism | Immediate, physical | Gradual, regenerative |
