Laser Virtue RF JUVGEN

Is there a procedure that addresses skin texture, pores, and fine wrinkles at once?

Using RF needling (Virtue RF) together with a Skin Booster may help improve skin texture, pores, and fine wrinkles at the same time. Depending on your condition, a combination of Mirajet, JUVGEN, Hydro Lifting, or Corage Cellfit may also be used. Treatments are typically performed in multiple sessions at 3- to 4-week intervals to achieve cumulative results.

Is There a Procedure That Can Address Skin Texture, Pores, and Fine Lines at Once?

To improve skin texture, pores, and fine wrinkles together, a procedure that stimulates collagen production in the dermis is fundamental. This is because these three concerns are often not just a surface-level issue but appear together as collagen and elastic fibers in the dermis decrease.

A representative method is Virtue RF, a type of RF (radiofrequency) needling. It is known to work by creating microchannels in the dermis with fine needles while delivering radiofrequency heat at the needle tips, minimizing damage to the epidermis while inducing collagen remodeling in the dermis. In addition, Mirajet, a needleless laser jet; JUVGEN, which uses an autologous collagen induction method; and Hydro Lifting and Corage Cellfit, which fill in moisture and active ingredients, can be combined according to your condition to comprehensively address skin texture, pores, and fine wrinkles.

Can RF Needling Tackle Multiple Concerns in One Go?

RF needling is designed so that an insulated needle passes through the epidermis and reaches the dermis, generating radiofrequency heat only at the needle tip, thereby reducing stimulation of epidermal pigment while creating thermal coagulation zones in the dermis. In this process, a wound healing response occurs, leading to the formation of new collagen and elastic fibers.

However, not all concerns can be resolved with a single treatment. Depending on the skin condition, multiple sessions are often performed. While changes in skin texture are felt relatively early, fine wrinkles and elasticity tend to improve gradually over weeks to months. The effect and speed may vary depending on the individual's skin condition.

Does Adding a Booster Enhance the Results?

When a Skin Booster is delivered together through the microchannels created by needling, the delivery of active ingredients is enhanced, and a synergistic effect can be expected. While needling induces collagen production in the dermal layer, applying a Skin Booster together can help improve skin texture, hydration, and elasticity.

At Heal House, depending on the condition, we may use Hydro Lifting to replenish moisture and active ingredients, or combinations such as JUVGEN, which uses CO₂ and HA to help induce autologous collagen. However, which Skin Booster is suitable depends on skin type and sensitivity, so it is advisable to select what is needed rather than simply adding multiple products.

How Many Sessions Are Needed for Comprehensive Improvement?

RF needling treatments are generally performed in multiple sessions at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks. Since collagen remodeling occurs over several weeks, not immediately after the procedure, improvement in texture, pores, and fine wrinkles is expected from the cumulative effect of multiple sessions rather than a single treatment.

The number of sessions needed depends on the depth of pores, the severity of fine wrinkles, and skin recovery ability. For mild texture refinement, changes can be felt with fewer sessions, but enlarged pores or longstanding fine wrinkles may require longer management. The exact number of sessions should be determined after assessing the skin condition.

Does Combining with a Laser Create Synergy?

Laser and RF needling act on different layers and in different ways, so they can be combined complementarily. Mirajet, a needleless laser jet, or surface resurfacing lasers are strong at refining texture, pigment, and tone in the epidermis to upper dermis, while RF needling is strong at collagen remodeling in the deep dermis. By addressing different depths separately, texture, pores, and fine wrinkles can be approached more comprehensively.

However, performing multiple procedures on the same day can increase skin irritation, so it is safe to adjust the intervals and sequence to ensure sufficient recovery time. Since the combination approach varies depending on the tendency for pigmentation or sensitivity, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist to design a program tailored to your individual skin.
