Can You Get a Painless Lift? Alltite Effects and How It Differs from Conventional Lifting

by Heal House

Heal House introduces Alltite, a 5th-generation RF lifting procedure that can be performed without anesthesia. It stimulates the dermis and SMAS layer while skipping the subcutaneous fat layer, and explains how collagen regenerates over 2 to 3 months after the procedure, refining the jawline, nasolabial folds, and cheek elasticity.

It provides an immediate effect of a clearer facial contour right after the procedure, and over the following 2 to 3 months, collagen regenerates to naturally refine the jawline, nasolabial folds, and cheek elasticity. Its biggest advantage is that it stimulates the dermis and SMAS layer while skipping the subcutaneous fat layer, so it addresses sagging without causing hollowing of the cheeks.

When I first became a specialist, I had to warn patients before recommending lifting, saying, "It will be a bit painful." Ultherapy PRIME® even required sleep anesthesia, and many patients experienced pain for up to a week after the procedure. However, a few years ago, I was able to say, "You don't need anesthesia this time." The procedure that led this change is 5th-generation Alltite.

As a result, in the clinic, questions like "Is it really not painful?", "What about the effects?", and "How is it different from Ultherapy PRIME®?" have increased noticeably. I will honestly answer the most common questions as someone who has personally undergone the procedure.

What is Alltite?

Alltite is a 5th-generation RF lifting procedure that is the first to apply DLTD® (Dermis Layer Target Dielectric heating system) technology, originally used in tumor hyperthermia therapy, to aesthetic medical devices. It is a device launched by Innoxus in Korea after 5 years of R&D, and the fact that it originated from cancer treatment rather than aesthetic medicine caught my attention. Upon closer look, the principle turned out to be surprisingly simple.

The epidermis is strongly cooled to block surface nerve stimulation and prevent pain.

Energy is concentrated in the dermis layer, inducing collagen regeneration with 17 times higher concentration compared to conventional devices.

The subcutaneous fat layer is skipped to avoid fat damage, preventing hollowing of the cheeks.

Based on this principle, the next-generation device designed to simultaneously achieve "depth of Ultherapy PRIME® + elasticity of Thermage® FLX + painless procedure" is Alltite.

Can Alltite really be performed without pain?

The pain is minimal enough that the procedure can be performed without anesthetic cream. The handpiece strongly cools the skin surface while heating only the inner layers, so the surface nerves, which are most sensitive to pain, receive almost no stimulation.

Whenever a new lifting device is released, I try to undergo it as soon as possible. I have experienced almost all the lifting devices that have emerged over time, including Ultherapy PRIME®, Thermage® FLX, SHURINK UNIVERSE, and Inmode, and they all had one thing in common: "effective but painful." However, the Alltite I recently received felt different. Throughout the procedure, there was never a moment when I wanted to say, "Please lower the intensity."

What differences did you notice after trying various lifting procedures?

The 5th-generation Alltite is the first device to structurally solve the two challenges that patients find most difficult: "pain" and "cheek hollowing." However, various lifting devices have emerged before the current Alltite. Although pain exists, each has its own strengths due to their powerful effects.

1st-generation Ultherapy PRIME® provides strong effects reaching the SMAS layer, but the pain is considerable. 2nd-generation SHURINK UNIVERSE achieved popularization, but its maintenance period is short, requiring frequent sessions. 3rd-generation Thermage® FLX and Oligio are good for improving elasticity but are somewhat weak for immediate lifting. 4th-generation Soprano Titanium offers immediate changes, but pain and the risk of pigmentation remain new challenges. The long-awaited 5th-generation Alltite simultaneously achieves depth, elasticity, and painlessness, with energy concentration in the dermis layer reaching 17 times.

Each generation was a meaningful device for its time, and I appreciate all of them. However, a structure that simultaneously addresses sagging, elasticity, pain, and cheek hollowing has only become possible with the 5th-generation Alltite.

Can Alltite also have side effects?

Structurally, this procedure has a very low likelihood of cheek hollowing. Alltite is designed to skip the fat layer and concentrate energy only on the dermis and SMAS layers, and data showing that heat concentration in the subcutaneous fat layer is more than 17 times lower than in the dermis layer supports this.

Recently on social media, it is not uncommon to see reviews saying, "My cheeks became hollow after lifting." In the clinic, many people hesitate to undergo lifting due to concerns about cheek hollowing along with pain. In fact, since lifting works by delivering thermal energy to the dermis layer, there is a possibility that heat may reach the subcutaneous fat layer below. Especially for those with little facial fat, even if sagging improves, hollowing of the cheeks can make them look older.

Alltite takes a clever approach at this point. Each layer of the skin absorbs energy in a fundamentally different way. The dermis readily absorbs energy at a specific frequency, while the fat layer absorbs almost none of that energy. By leveraging this difference, Alltite achieves a natural lift that addresses sagging while preserving volume.

When does the Alltite effect start and how long does it last?

Immediate changes appear right after the procedure, and the full effect settles over 2 to 3 months, with an average duration of about 6 to 12 months.

When I looked in the mirror right after the procedure, my facial contour looked one tone more defined. Typically, RF and ultrasound-based lifting procedures are ones you undergo expecting results after a few months, but the biggest difference with Alltite is that you can see a change on the spot. The true effect settles more naturally over 2 to 3 months as collagen regenerates. The recommended treatment interval is once every 6 to 12 months, and with repeated treatments, collagen tends to accumulate, leading to longer-lasting results.

How is Alltite performed?

The procedure itself takes about 15 minutes, and even including the total time spent at the clinic, it is completed within 30 minutes. Since we apply only jojoba oil without numbing cream and proceed directly to the treatment, there is no separate waiting time for anesthesia.

The method is a 'rubbing technique' where the handpiece gently massages the face. Because it continuously moves without lingering on one spot, heat does not accumulate in one area, and energy is distributed evenly across the skin.

Two types of handpieces are used depending on the area. For overall skin firmness and lifting of the face, the D-type handpiece is used, and for narrow areas such as the V-line, double chin, and facial asymmetry improvement, the E-type handpiece is mainly used. In some cases, the two handpieces are combined depending on the area.

What about Alltite side effects and downtime?

There is almost no swelling or bruising, so you can return to daily life on the same day. Temporary irritation, pulling sensation, or redness may occur after the procedure, but these usually subside within 72 hours, and no separate recovery period is needed.

However, following the four points below will greatly help maintain the results effectively.

✅ Avoid cold compresses on the day of the procedure. They may affect the collagen synthesis process.

✅ Refrain from saunas, alcohol, and intense exercise for 3 days.

✅ Apply sunscreen more thoroughly than usual.

✅ Keep your skin well moisturized. Managing skin condition is important during collagen regeneration.

Who is Alltite well suited for?

It is well suited for those who have been putting off lifting due to concerns about pain and volume loss, and for those who want a quick procedure without anesthesia and want to see immediate changes. Many people visit the clinic asking for lifting, but those we primarily recommend Alltite to generally have the following characteristics.

📌 People who are bothered by sagging but have been delaying lifting because they are afraid of pain. Those who said, "I want to get a lift, but I'm scared because I heard it hurts" tended to have the highest satisfaction.

📌 People who have experienced volume loss with pre-4th generation devices. Because the structure bypasses the fat layer, it can be safely performed even on a thin face.

📌 Office workers who need a quick procedure without anesthesia and return to daily life. You can get it during your lunch break and attend an afternoon meeting without any problem.

📌 People who are concerned about their V-line or double chin. The E-type handpiece can precisely refine narrow areas.

Conversely, for those with very severe hollowing, lifting alone may be insufficient, so we recommend combining it with filling procedures (such as dermal filler or HILO WAVE®).

Go ahead with confidence.

There are many people who look in the mirror every year in front of the word 'lifting' and then put it off for another year. I believe Alltite is a procedure that can lightly resolve that long hesitation.

It is not a huge change, but rather a degree where the original facial line becomes one tone clearer, a refinement of exactly one notch that does not look like you had a procedure. It was a procedure that felt cleaner because there was no burden of pain. That is why I want to define Alltite as 'neatness.' A sense that quietly tidies up the lines of your original face without trying to change anything drastically. After experiencing it myself, I really liked that texture.

If you have been hesitating about a lift, we encourage you to confidently give it a try. At Heal House Gangnam Branch, board-certified dermatologist Dr. Hanmi Jung is with you from start to finish, from consultation through treatment and aftercare.

Quick Q&A

Q. How long does the Alltite procedure take? The procedure itself takes about 15 minutes, and even including the total time spent at the clinic, it is completed within 30 minutes.

Q. How many sessions of Alltite are needed to see results? You can see immediate changes even with a single session, and with repeated sessions at 6- to 12-month intervals, collagen accumulates and the effects last longer.

Q. Can I apply makeup right after Alltite? There may be mild irritation or redness within 1 hour after the procedure, but after that, light makeup is possible. However, it is advisable to avoid irritating products (such as retinol or acid-based ingredients) for 2 to 3 days.

Q. Can Alltite be combined with other procedures? Yes, it is possible. It is often combined with filling procedures (dermal filler or HILO WAVE®) or tone-improving treatments, and for those with hollow cheeks, we frequently recommend a combination of lifting and filling.

Q. How much does Alltite cost? The cost varies depending on the treatment area and number of shots, so we will provide the exact price during a 1:1 consultation.

Q. Can pregnant or breastfeeding women receive Alltite? We do not recommend any medical device procedures during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend consulting after a sufficient recovery period following childbirth.
