JUVGEN at a Glance
JUVGEN: Price by Area and Depth, and a Pre-Consultation Checklist
Heal House explains how the price of JUVGEN varies depending on the depth, area, location, and number of sessions for wrinkles. We have organized into a checklist the structure where the cost is determined after a diagnosis of your skin condition in the consultation room, along with useful questions to ask during the consultation.
The price of JUVGEN is typically in the range of 1 million to 3 million KRW, and may vary depending on the depth, area, location, and number of sessions for wrinkles.
It is not a procedure with a fixed price; the cost is provided after a comprehensive diagnosis of your skin condition in the consultation room.
During the consultation, it is advisable to check the type of wrinkles, the timing of scar occurrence, case photos, downtime, and changes over time.
In Part 1, I explained what JUVGEN is and why I recommended it even to my parents and relatives.

Perhaps thanks to that, the number of people visiting the consultation room has noticeably increased. However, the questions from those who came were all similar. "How much does it cost?" "I need to go to work—will it be very noticeable after the procedure?" "Can I get it done together with other procedures?" and so on.
Since these questions came in particularly frequently, I thought I would organize them in writing. Today, I would like to first address the most commonly asked ones: 'price' and 'preparation before the consultation'.
Does the price of JUVGEN vary by area and depth?
The price of JUVGEN generally starts from around 1 million KRW and can go up to around 3 million KRW depending on the area and depth. It is not a procedure with a fixed price; rather, the cost is determined by how deep the area is and how large an area needs to be filled. This can be broadly categorized into four factors.
First, the treatment area
From treating only the nasolabial folds,
to treating the nasolabial folds and marionette lines,
or even treating the entire face including the glabella, forehead, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines,
the amount of treatment can vary by 5 to 10 times depending on the area. Therefore, the price range is set separately for each area.
Second, the depth of wrinkles
Even for the same nasolabial folds, the depth varies from person to person. There is a considerable difference in both the amount of treatment and the procedure time between shallow static wrinkles of about 1.5 mm and deep depressed wrinkles over 5 mm. Since precise injection is performed until the deep wrinkles fill up like natural skin, the price range differs even for the same area.
Third, the characteristics of the treatment area
Areas with thin skin like the eye area, areas with many important blood vessels like the glabella, and areas with uneven depth like acne scars have different levels of difficulty and require more concentration and time from the practitioner, which can affect the price.
Fourth, whether additional procedures are performed
In some cases, a single session is sufficient, but if additional sessions are needed to reinforce areas that were insufficient in the first session, the cost differs from a one-time procedure.
Since the price varies depending on various factors like these, the exact cost is provided after a comprehensive diagnosis in the consultation room, including the treatment area, depth of wrinkles and scars, skin thickness, and whether concurrent procedures are performed.
POINT - The price of JUVGEN is determined by these four factors: ① treatment area, ② depth of wrinkles, ③ characteristics of the treatment area, and ④ whether additional procedures are performed.
When consulting for JUVGEN, be sure to ask these questions
Before the JUVGEN procedure, there are five questions you must ask during the consultation. They are: distinguishing between static and dynamic wrinkles, timing of scar treatment, reviewing case photos, downtime, and changes over time. The more questions you ask in the consultation room, the better the procedure outcome tends to be.
Of course, a board-certified dermatologist will analyze things systematically, but since the information you understand by asking questions and hearing answers ultimately determines the quality of your decision, I hope you do not skip this process. Some places explain kindly, but others do not, so I recommend you be sure to ask the following questions.
First, "Are my wrinkles static wrinkles or dynamic wrinkles?"
Wrinkles that are visible even when your face is at rest are static wrinkles, while wrinkles that appear only when you make expressions are dynamic wrinkles. JUVGEN is a procedure suitable for static wrinkles, and for dynamic wrinkles, botulinum toxin type A is the first-line choice.
Second, "Is my scar at a stage where the procedure is possible right now?"
It is better not to perform the procedure before the scar has fully healed with new skin. Generally, the procedure is possible when at least 6 months have passed since the scar formed and it has stabilized in a depressed form.
Third, "Can I see examples of how much improvement can be achieved with a single session?"
Deep wrinkles often show significant improvement even after one session, but results vary depending on the type of scar, age, and skin thickness. It is advisable to review several cases in the consultation room that are similar to your condition.
Fourth, "I have thin skin and bruise easily—what will the downtime be like?"
Generally, there is almost no downtime, but if you are prone to bruising, fine bruises may remain for 1 to 2 weeks. In rare cases, hyperpigmentation may occur, and if it does, it can persist for about a month. Therefore, when scheduling the procedure, you should check this in advance to avoid conflicts with weddings or important events.
Fifth, "How do the changes look at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months after the procedure?"
JUVGEN is a procedure where immediate effects and gradual settling occur together. Right after the procedure, the injected hyaluronic acid fills the sunken areas, resulting in immediate visible changes. By the first week, fine swelling subsides, making the outcome look more natural. Over 1 to 2 months, collagen settles, leading to a more significant transformation as the area fills with your own tissue. Based on the results at the 3‑month point, you can then consider whether to undergo additional sessions.
POINT – Ask these questions during the consultation: ① Are my wrinkles static or dynamic? ② Is this the right timing for treating my scars? ③ Can I see photos of similar cases? ④ What is the expected downtime for my skin type? ⑤ How do the changes look at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months? A clinic that gives clear answers to all five is a good one.
Quick Q&A
Q. How does the price of JUVGEN differ by area? A small single area and the entire face differ significantly in the amount of product used, so the price range also varies. The exact cost will be provided after a comprehensive assessment of the area, depth, and skin thickness in the consultation room.
Q. What should I check before a JUVGEN procedure? It is recommended to check these four basics: whether the wrinkles are static or dynamic, the timing of scar occurrence, your schedule that allows for downtime, and plans for combining other procedures.
