Lifting Alltite Soprano Titanium

What lifting options are available if you are sensitive to pain?

Low-pain lifting procedures that can be comfortably performed with only numbing cream include Alltite, Soprano Titanium, Hydro Lifting, and EVE Synergy. Less pain does not mean weaker results; these are closer to maintenance-type treatments where effects build up through repeated sessions.

What Low-Pain Procedures Are Possible With Just Numbing Cream?

Representative low-pain lifting procedures that can be comfortably performed with only numbing cream include Alltite, which uses radiofrequency, and Soprano Titanium, which uses a triple-wavelength laser. Both are designed to deliver energy while protecting the epidermis, so you mainly feel a warm sensation during the procedure.

In addition, management-type procedures such as Hydro Lifting, which combines skin hydration care and lifting, and EVE Synergy facial, which uses EMS plus microcurrent to stimulate the muscle layer, are also low-pain options. However, pain perception varies by individual, so if you are sensitive, please let us know during your consultation so we can adjust the numbing time and energy levels.

ProceduresMethodSensation (general tendency)
AlltiteRadiofrequency (RF)Mainly warm sensation, minimal pain
Soprano TitaniumTriple-wavelength laser + coolingMainly warm sensation, minimal pain
Hydro LiftingSkin Booster typeMild stinging
EVE SynergyEMS + microcurrentMuscle contraction sensation, almost no pain

Why Are Procedures Like Alltite and Soprano Titanium Less Painful?

This is because the energy is designed not to stimulate the epidermis strongly. Alltite delivers radiofrequency energy that passes through the epidermis without irritation and concentrates at the target point in the lower dermis, so it is known to cause less rise in skin surface temperature and less resulting pain.

Soprano Titanium simultaneously delivers three wavelengths of laser—755, 810, and 1064 nm—while a cooling tip continuously cools the skin surface. Instead of delivering strong energy to a single point, it delivers divided, continuous energy to gradually accumulate heat, so many people feel it more like a warm massage than a sharp sting.

In other words, the reason it is less painful is not because the energy is weak, but because of the way heat is delivered and the epidermal protection technology.

What Pain‑Reduction Options Are Available?

Applying numbing cream 30–45 minutes before the procedure to allow sufficient time is the most basic painless option. In addition, gradually increasing the energy level during the procedure, dividing the treatment area with breaks, and using vibration or cooling devices can help reduce pain.

For procedures that deliver strong energy to deep layers, such as Ultherapy PRIME®, oral pain medication, inhalation sedation, or sleep sedation may be used as needed. The appropriate option depends on the type of procedure and your individual pain sensitivity, so it is recommended to decide together during your pre-procedure consultation.

Does Lower Pain Mean Lower Effectiveness?

Not necessarily. Pain depends largely on the depth and method of energy delivery rather than the magnitude of the effect. Devices that cool the epidermis while building heat in the dermis can sufficiently induce collagen remodeling even with less pain.

However, it is true that procedures that deliver intense stimulation to deep layers, such as Ultherapy PRIME® which creates strong thermal coagulation points down to the SMAS layer, or Thermage® FLX which uses high-energy radiofrequency, tend to have an advantage in terms of sagging improvement. Therefore, it is reasonable to use low-pain devices as maintenance-type treatments repeated about 3–5 sessions to build effects, and high-intensity devices as intensive lifting 1–2 times per year.

What Is a Good Entry‑Level Option for a First‑Timer?

If you are new to lifting, we recommend starting with Soprano Titanium or Alltite, which have less pain and downtime. Both allow you to return to daily activities immediately after the procedure, and they are a good way to experience the warm sensation and recovery process of lifting without too much burden.

Later, if sagging becomes more noticeable or you want more definite improvement, it is natural to step up to higher-intensity devices such as Thermage® FLX or Ultherapy PRIME®. Of course, if sagging is already significant, starting with a high-intensity device may be more appropriate, so it is accurate to determine the entry procedure through a skin assessment.
