Lifting Soprano Titanium Ultherapy PRIME®

Soprano Titanium, How Long Do Results Last?

Soprano Titanium is a procedure where changes appear not from immediate tightening but from collagen regeneration over several weeks. Generally, after completing a series of 3 or more sessions at 3-4 week intervals, results last about 6 months to 1 year, and the perceived duration varies greatly depending on whether maintenance sessions are done and individual aging speed.

What exactly is Soprano Titanium?

Soprano Titanium is a procedure that uses the Soprano Titanium multi-wavelength diode laser for facial skin elasticity.

This device emits three wavelengths (755nm, 810nm, 1064nm) simultaneously from a single handpiece. Each wavelength is absorbed at a different depth, so a single pass delivers heat relatively broadly from the superficial layers near the epidermis to the lower dermis. During the procedure, a sapphire tip continuously cools the skin surface, and the handpiece is moved in a massaging motion (in-motion mode) to stack low energy multiple times. Rather than delivering intense heat at once, it gradually raises the temperature over a wide area to induce a collagen response.

What results can you expect from Soprano Titanium?

The heat delivered to the dermis contracts existing collagen fibers and stimulates fibroblasts to induce the production of new collagen. This is the common mechanism of non-ablative lasers that remodel the dermis without removing the epidermis.

So the changes you actually feel are closer to 'the skin texture becomes refined, tightened, and slimmer' rather than 'the skin is lifted.' The facial contour may become slightly more defined, fine lines and pore texture may soften, and because 755nm and 810nm are also absorbed by melanin, the skin tone may appear more even. However, the degree of change varies individually.

However, since it is a non-ablative laser procedure, if sagging is pronounced or the skin is very thick, this procedure alone may not produce the desired change, and other procedures or combination treatments may be necessary.

How long do the results of Soprano Titanium actually last?

The reason why the duration of Soprano Titanium effects is said to be 'short' is because the immediate post-procedure sensation and the actual changes are different. The tightening sensation felt for a few days after the procedure is a temporary reaction from collagen fibers contracting due to heat, and it usually subsides within 1-2 weeks. If you consider this point as the effect, you may get the impression that 'it wore off in a week.'

Generally, the advised duration is 6 months to 1 year after completing a series of 3 or more sessions at 3-4 week intervals. However, actual perceived duration varies greatly by individual, so it is more accurate to understand this as a reference range.

Also, no procedure can stop aging itself. Collagen decreases over time, so it is more realistic to view the duration as 'when to replenish' rather than 'when the effect disappears.'

Why does the duration vary from person to person?

The number of sessions is a major variable for Soprano Titanium. If you judge after only one session, the change may feel small, and the perceived effect tends to differ when collagen responses overlap through 3 or more sessions at 3-4 week intervals.

Age and baseline skin condition also play a role. The ability to produce collagen declines with age, so even with the same energy, the magnitude and speed of the recovery response differ. Smoking, lack of sleep, UV exposure, and rapid weight changes tend to accelerate the breakdown of newly formed collagen.

Differences in expectations also matter. If you compare it to Thread Lifting or surgery, which provide immediate and noticeable changes, you may be disappointed. If you evaluate it based on natural improvement in skin firmness, the assessment will be different.

How is Soprano Titanium different from other lifting treatments?

A frequently mentioned difference compared to other lifting procedures is that it is less burdensome. Because the surface is continuously cooled and low energy is delivered in divided doses, pain is minimal, and there is almost no downtime, so most patients can wash their face and resume daily life on the same day. The procedure time for the face is also relatively short at 20-30 minutes, and since heat is delivered evenly over a wide area, there is less of a feeling that only specific areas stand out.

Additionally, the 755nm, 810nm, and 1064nm wavelengths are also absorbed by melanin, so in addition to the lifting effect, you can also enjoy a brightening effect on skin tone and a tightening effect as heat is evenly delivered to the dermis.

What side effects or precautions should you know before Soprano Titanium treatment?

Common side effects are temporary redness, a burning sensation, and mild swelling. These usually subside within a few hours to a day. Rarely, blisters, burns, and post-procedure hyperpigmentation may occur. The risk tends to increase in skin that has recently been tanned or had significant UV exposure, or in skin with high melanin content.

These issues are largely related to energy settings, technique, and patient selection. However, even with the right conditions, risks are not completely eliminated, so if you are pregnant, taking photosensitizing medications, have a history of herpes or active inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have recently tanned, you should inform your doctor beforehand. After the procedure, it is advisable to apply sunscreen diligently and avoid saunas, steam rooms, and excessive exfoliation for a few days.
