Does Ultherapy PRIME® hurt a lot during the procedure? Is anesthesia used?

When the ultrasound energy of Ultherapy PRIME® reaches the deep layers, many people feel a dull ache or a tingling sensation, and the perceived level of discomfort varies greatly between individuals. Before the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to reduce discomfort; if the treatment area is large or you are sensitive to pain, other anesthesia methods may also be considered after a consultation.

Can I return to daily life immediately after Ultherapy PRIME®?

Ultherapy PRIME® has little to no downtime, and light cleansing and makeup are usually possible right after. Swelling may occur after the procedure, and the degree of swelling varies by individual, but it typically subsides within 1 to 2 weeks. On the day of the procedure, it is recommended to avoid saunas, strenuous exercise, and alcohol.

How long do the effects of Ultherapy PRIME® last?

Ultherapy PRIME® is known to last relatively long with a single treatment due to its precise targeting, but the duration may vary depending on the rate of aging and lifestyle habits. Since the treatment does not stop the aging process, it is advisable to have periodic maintenance sessions based on the degree of sagging and skin elasticity.
