AGNES inserts insulated micro-needles with only the tips exposed into the skin to deliver radiofrequency energy. The insulating coating protects the epidermis and the needle shaft, so heat is generated only at the depth where the needle tips touch. This heat selectively acts only on the targeted tissue, such as overactive sebaceous glands or under-eye fat. Because it does not spread widely and treats only the necessary areas, it can precisely manage recurring acne and under-eye bulges.
After AGNES treatment, swelling, redness, and small scabs are common and typically resolve within 3 days to 2 weeks depending on the area. Results may vary by individual.
