In a broad sense, they share the use of salmon-derived DNA components, so they are sometimes collectively referred to as 'salmon injections.' Since this is a procedure that injects medication into the dermal layer, the pain tends to be more significant when the medication is injected into the dermis rather than from the needle itself. Therefore, it is necessary to apply numbing cream for a sufficient amount of time before the procedure, and we also recommend receiving REJURAN® HB Plus, which reduces pain. Sensitivity to pain during REJURAN® treatment varies by individual; if you are sensitive, you can discuss and adjust the anesthesia method with your dermatologist.

Immediately after REJURAN® treatment, small bumps, redness, or faint bruising may temporarily appear at the injection sites, and most of these subside within a few days. If you have thin or sensitive skin, these may be slightly more noticeable. If they persist for a long time or pain worsens, please contact the clinic.

You begin to feel the effects from the time the bruising and injection marks from REJURAN® disappear. Patients who had significant redness due to inflammation may feel their skin recovering from the anti-inflammatory effect as early as 1 week after treatment. Thereafter, you may notice the skin becoming smoother and dryness improving. With repeated treatments, you can feel the skin itself becoming healthier, and the speed at which you perceive these effects may vary by individual.

Many evaluations indicate that the improved dermal environment from REJURAN® regeneration tends to be maintained relatively stably. However, those who initially felt a significant improvement in skin smoothness or glow may notice a sharp decrease in effect after about one month. Therefore, we recommend completing the recommended course of 3 treatments at 4-week intervals to enjoy longer-lasting results.

REJURAN® is a treatment where the regenerative effect accumulates more stably when repeated at regular intervals rather than from a single session. The general approach is to manage it more frequently in the beginning to build a foundation for skin condition, then widen the intervals.
