XERF™’s two frequencies act at different depths, so immediately after the procedure you first feel a tightening sensation from collagen contraction. Then, as regeneration continues, elasticity and skin texture tend to become refined over two to three months. The speed and degree of results may vary depending on your skin condition.

How painful is XERF™? Is anesthesia necessary?

XERF™ delivers energy in finely divided pulses using Wave-fit pulse technology, so you can receive it comfortably. Since cooling is applied with each pulse, most people can undergo it comfortably after topical anesthetic cream. However, you may feel a warm sensation or brief stinging. If you are sensitive to pain, we can lower the intensity or adjust the anesthetic application time after consultation.

How long does the XERF™ procedure take, and can I return to daily life immediately?

XERF™ typically takes about 40 minutes depending on the area and number of shots, and no recovery time is needed. You can wash your face and apply makeup on the same day. Redness or mild heat sensation usually subsides within a few hours, so there is no significant disruption to daily life.

How long do XERF™ results last?

XERF™ involves the process of new collagen formation and stabilization, so results are generally expected to last about six months to one year. As changes gradually become less noticeable over time, it is advisable to discuss the timing of retreatment with your doctor when you feel elasticity is again lacking.

How many months apart should I receive XERF™ treatments?

How does XERF™ work?
