UltraPulse® Encore™ divides a 10,600 nm wavelength CO2 laser into microscopic spots and delivers them to the dermal layer. Small columns of thermal damage are created where the laser passes, and the surrounding healthy tissue drives recovery, speeding up regeneration. As the damaged tissue is pushed out, new collagen fills in, gradually raising the scar base. Depth and power can be adjusted to treat everything from superficial skin texture to deep scars.
With UltraPulse Encore, redness and hyperpigmentation are the most common side effects, and most fade over time. Scabs and redness typically last 1 to 2 weeks, and recovery speed varies by individual.
