Because 3DEEP generates less heat on the skin surface, it is generally considered to have a relatively low pain burden among RF lifting treatments. Most people experience a warm sensation and the procedure is performed without anesthesia. However, pain tolerance varies greatly between individuals, so please let us know beforehand if you are sensitive.

Even a single session can produce a tightening effect as collagen contracts, but 3DEEP is more suited to a approach where collagen regeneration is built up over multiple sessions. The number of sessions needed depends on skin thickness and the degree of sagging, so we will determine this together during your consultation.

Both use RF, but the way energy is delivered differs. Thermage® FLX uses a monopolar method that delivers strong energy in a single pass while cooling the surface, whereas 3DEEP uses the repulsive force of electromagnetic fields created by six generators to direct energy downward without surface cooling. Which is more suitable depends on your skin condition.

Since there is minimal swelling or bruising, you can wash your face and apply makeup on the same day as the treatment. However, the treated area may become dry, so be sure to apply moisturizer generously and apply sunscreen thoroughly when going out.
