StarWalker® QX delivers multiple wavelengths, including 1064 nm and 532 nm, to pigment in the epidermis and dermis using Q-switched and even shorter pulses. The concentrated energy in a very brief moment selectively shatters pigment particles into fine fragments, which are then gradually eliminated via immune cells. By minimizing heat remaining in surrounding tissue while targeting only pigment, it can help improve melasma, freckles, tattoos, and dull skin tone.
Due to the nature of pigment lasers, StarWalker® QX may cause temporary redness and fine scabs after treatment, which generally fade gradually over time.
