When does the effect of 10THERMA appear and how long does it last?

Due to heat-induced collagen contraction, some people feel a slight tightening immediately after the 10THERMA procedure, and as new collagen is produced, the improvement in elasticity gradually becomes more noticeable. Elasticity tends to be maintained for a considerable period afterward, but the speed and degree vary individually depending on skin age and the extent of sagging.

How painful is 10THERMA and is anesthesia necessary?

10THERMA is known to have relatively reduced pain because cooling works simultaneously while energy is delivered, so most procedures can be performed with topical anesthetic cream. However, areas close to the bone, such as the jawline or above the eyebrows, may feel more sensitive, so please let us know in advance if you are sensitive to pain.

Does swelling or redness last long after the 10THERMA procedure? Is there any downtime?

10THERMA is a non-invasive procedure that does not use needles, so there is almost no downtime. Immediately after the procedure, you may experience temporary redness or a slight feeling of swelling, but this usually subsides within a short time. However, the speed of response varies individually, so please allow some leeway for important schedules.

How many sessions of 10THERMA are needed and what is the treatment interval?

If elasticity loss is just beginning, you may notice a change with a single session of 10THERMA, but if sagging has progressed, it may be performed over multiple sessions at the discretion of the attending physician. For maintenance afterward, the interval can be determined based on your skin condition and the rate of aging.

Is there no risk of burns or other side effects with 10THERMA?

Since 10THERMA uses radiofrequency heat, reactions beyond redness have been rarely reported, but the risk can be kept low with appropriate energy and cooling. Avoid saunas and strong massage on the day of the procedure, and contact the clinic immediately if any abnormal reaction persists.

Can I receive 10THERMA if I am pregnant or have had other procedures?

Radiofrequency energy procedures such as 10THERMA are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and caution is also needed if you have metal implants or a pacemaker. If you have recently received dermal filler or Thread Lifting, please discuss with the attending physician during your consultation whether they can be combined and the appropriate interval.
