DoubleTite inserts a microneedle into the dermis and delivers radiofrequency energy at the needle tip. The heat is generated directly within the dermis without passing through the epidermis, creating minute coagulation points only in the targeted layer. The tip contains needles of two lengths—0.3 mm and 1.0 mm—to separately stimulate the papillary and reticular dermis, and an injection pin on the same tip simultaneously delivers the medication.
The most common reactions after DoubleTite are redness and swelling along the needle marks, which usually subside within 2 to 3 days.
