Skin Booster REJURAN® JUVELOOK

REJURAN®·JUVELOOK·Re2O®, which one is right for my skin?

All three improve the dermal environment, but their mechanisms differ. REJURAN® (PN) focuses on regeneration, JUVELOOK (PDLLA) on collagen synthesis, and Re2O® (hADM) on structural support. For early aging in your 20s–30s, the first two are often considered; for loss of elasticity after your 40s, Re2O® is frequently considered.

How Do REJURAN®, JUVELOOK, and Re2O® Work Differently?

All three treatments target the dermal layer, but the core principle of making the skin healthy differs. Because the mechanism of action is different, the nature of the changes you experience also appears differently.

  • REJURAN® (stimulates regeneration signals): The polynucleotide (PN) component derived from salmon awakens regeneration signals in the dermal layer, helping the skin recover on its own. It not only improves the overall recovery ability of thinned skin but also enhances the moisturizing environment within the dermis, making it strong at resolving internal tightness and chronic dryness.
  • JUVELOOK (induces collagen synthesis): Fine biodegradable particles (PDLLA) slowly break down in the skin, inducing your own collagen production. It is effective at increasing skin density to improve elasticity, pores, and fine lines.
  • Re2O® (focuses on structural support): It directly fills in human-derived components (hADM) to supplement a sturdy scaffold (ECM) where collagen can grow well. This treatment focuses on firmly rebuilding the dermal scaffold itself to restore lost elasticity and improve overall skin condition.

Which Is Better for Thin, Sensitive Skin?

If your skin is thin and easily turns red from external stimuli, we primarily recommend the REJURAN® line, which focuses on regeneration and soothing. This is because the PN component gently restores the damaged skin barrier.

However, if the fundamental cause of thinned skin is a decrease in structural substances within the dermis itself, you may consider Re2O®, which directly fills the scaffold. On the other hand, treatments like JUVELOOK, which stimulate collagen with particles, may feel somewhat strong for extremely sensitive skin, so it is important to lower the intensity of stimulation and approach carefully depending on your skin condition.

For Pores and Fine Lines, Which Should I Choose Among REJURAN®, JUVELOOK, and Re2O®?

Enlarged pores and shallow fine lines become most noticeable when collagen density in the dermal layer decreases and the scaffold collapses. Therefore, Re2O® and JUVELOOK, which firmly fill and tighten empty spaces in the skin, become primary options.

Re2O®, which directly supplements the scaffold (structural material) so collagen can settle properly, or JUVELOOK, which strongly stimulates your own collagen production with fine particles, works on the principle that a denser dermal layer leads to improvement in pores and fine lines.

On the other hand, if your main goal is to improve the shiny and smooth 'texture' of the skin surface and address dryness rather than the depth of pores or wrinkles themselves, REJURAN® can be a good alternative.

In actual clinical settings, pores, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity are often intertwined. Therefore, if you identify your 'number 1 concern' that causes the most stress, it becomes easier to establish the most efficient treatment plan suited to your skin condition.

Can REJURAN®, JUVELOOK, and Re2O® Be Used in Combination?

Yes, when the goals for improvement are complex, boosters with different mechanisms of action may be combined or used sequentially to create synergy. (Example: REJURAN®'s regeneration effect + Re2O®'s scaffold supplementation effect.)

However, mixing multiple products does not necessarily double the effect. Rather than giving too much stimulation at once, we recommend considering your skin condition and recovery status and approaching step-by-step, starting with the highest priority concern, safely.

Do Recommendations for REJURAN®, JUVELOOK, and Re2O® Vary by Age?

Because the form of aging that mainly occurs in the skin differs by age, the type of booster primarily considered also tends to vary.

  • 20s–30s (early aging): Pore sagging, rough skin texture, and mild loss of elasticity are the main concerns, so REJURAN® (regeneration) or JUVELOOK (collagen synthesis), which awaken cells, are often considered.
  • 40s and older (collagen decrease period): This is a time when dermal thickness decreases, and noticeable loss of elasticity and volume deflation occur. Therefore, an approach that combines Re2O® (structural support), which firmly supports the scaffold itself, is effective.

Of course, this is only a general trend. Actual treatment selection is based on 'actual skin thickness and aging status' rather than your age on your ID card, so we recommend deciding through a consultation with a dermatologist.
