Skin Booster REJURAN® HP VITARAN

Which Skin Types Is REJURAN® Especially Suitable For?

This treatment is especially well-suited for skin that is thin, sensitive, and prone to dryness and redness, as well as for skin with fine lines. It is often used in the 20s and 30s for skin texture and pore management and aging prevention, and after the 40s to compensate for decreased skin density and regenerative capacity.

Is REJURAN® Suitable for Thin, Sensitive Skin?

Yes, it is a Skin Booster frequently used for skin that is thin, sensitive, or concerns about dryness and fine lines. Its main ingredient, PN, does not work by filling volume, but rather by improving the dermal environment and supporting skin regeneration responses.

Salmon-derived PN has high similarity to human DNA, so foreign body reactions are relatively rare, allowing it to be applied relatively stably even on sensitive skin. It can also be used to improve skin condition in thin areas such as around the eyes and neck. However, if the cause of sensitivity is a skin disease, it is a priority to first determine the treatment sequence through a consultation.

Can It Help with Dryness and Redness?

For skin that is frequently dry and red, REJURAN®'s barrier-restoring and anti-inflammatory effects may be helpful. PN creates an environment that retains moisture in the dermis, improving internal dryness and working in a soothing direction.

In clinical practice, PN is also used to manage facial redness that remains after frequent laser treatments or inflammation. However, the causes of redness vary, including vasodilation, dermatitis, and barrier damage, so combining it with appropriate treatments or lasers depending on the cause may be more effective.

Is REJURAN® Effective for Fine Lines and Pores?

Yes, it is also used to improve fine lines and enlarged pores. Both stem from decreased collagen and loss of elasticity in the dermis. PN stimulates fibroblasts to induce collagen production, which helps refine skin texture and support elasticity around pores.

It is particularly useful in areas where fine lines appear first due to thin skin, such as around the eyes and mouth. However, for deep wrinkles or sagging, a booster alone may have limitations, so it is recommended to consider combining it with elasticity treatments such as Thermage® FLX or Ultherapy PRIME®.

When Might Another Booster Be a Better Choice Than REJURAN®?

If your skin concerns are not about regeneration but rather elasticity, volume, or immediate radiance and glow, a different booster may be more suitable. Since each booster has different ingredients and purposes, it is important to choose based on your skin condition.

Do Recommendations Vary by Age Group?

Yes, even with the same REJURAN®, the purpose and plan may differ by age group. It is often used in the 20s and 30s for skin texture and pore management and aging prevention, and after the 40s to compensate for decreased skin density and regenerative capacity.

However, what matters is not age itself but your current skin condition. The direction of treatment needed varies depending on skin thickness, loss of elasticity, and volume loss, so it is advisable to establish a customized plan through a consultation.
