Dr. Jung Min Bae’s Vitiligo Surgery Lecture at the Korean Society of Vitiligo and Pigment Disorders

by Heal House Gangnam Branch

At the Korean Vitiligo Society, Dr. Jung Min Bae of Heal House gave a lecture on micro-punch grafting for vitiligo. He analyzed data on how the difference between 0.8 mm and 0.5 mm punch sizes affects skin graft take and cosmetic outcomes, and shared the findings with fellow dermatologists.

As a speaker at the Korean Society for Vitiligo and Pigmentary Disorders, he analyzed the impact of punch size in micro-punch grafting, which can be applied from children to the elderly.

Dr. Jung Min Bae took the podium as a speaker at the Korean Society for Vitiligo and Pigmentary Disorders. As the first in Korea to introduce non-cultured epidermal cell transplantation and a leader at the forefront of vitiligo surgery, this lecture was also an opportunity to showcase advanced surgical techniques.

In particular, during micro-punch grafting (SST), which is currently the most actively performed procedure at Heal House, he demonstrated, based on extensive clinical cases, how the subtle difference between 0.8 mm and 0.5 mm punch sizes creates a dramatic difference in skin graft take and cosmetic outcomes.

It was a moment that reaffirmed Heal House's perfectionism—meticulously pursuing even the smallest details to deliver the most optimal results to patients.
