A video lecture session was newly added to the Korean Association of Dermatologists spring conference. Dr. Jung Min Bae served as the speaker, presenting a video of the full micropunch grafting procedure performed at Heal House.
The lecture covered, in order, the process of determining the surgical target and site, harvesting and grafting skin tissue, and post-operative care to promote graft survival. Aspects that are difficult to convey through text or photos alone—such as how to adjust the technique according to punch size, insertion depth, graft spacing, and lesion location—were captured on screen through hand movements.
In vitiligo surgery, small differences lead to different outcomes. This is why understanding the principle and seeing the procedure visually are different domains. The video session was newly created because it can show those details that would otherwise be skipped over in text and slides.
