Dr. Jung Min Bae participated as a speaker at the Korean Dermatological Association Spring Conference, giving a lecture on health and medical statistics and big data analysis to university professors and private practitioners.
Based on "Dr. Bae's Easy Health and Medical Statistics," which he wrote during his time as a military doctor, he covered how to formulate research questions from accumulated medical data and which analysis methods to choose. He also shared, along with his actual experience, the points to be careful about when interpreting analysis results and when translating them into papers and clinical studies. The core of the talk was that statistics are not only a tool for researchers but also a necessary language for private practitioners who see patients every day.
On that day, he also served as the chair of the "Know-how of Private Practice" session. Discussions continued on how to share experiences accumulated in clinical settings academically. In effect, he moved between presenting and summarizing presentations in a single day.
