Beyond the differences in clinical settings between private clinics and university hospitals, it was a meaningful opportunity to transparently share each other's experiences in order to provide more objective and stable treatment for vitiligo patients. In addition, through the observation conducted in the operating room, specific surgical steps and accumulated clinical data were calmly shared.
University hospitals and private clinics see different patient populations and have different time constraints. Recognizing these differences will likely lead each to re-evaluate their own practice. It is expected that as such opportunities are repeated, the options available to vitiligo patients will gradually expand.
