Vitiligo Surgery Experience Shared with International Dermatologists

by Heal House Gangnam Branch

Dr. Nargiza, who runs a dermatology clinic in Uzbekistan, visited Heal House to observe vitiligo surgery procedures. Together in the operating room, we reviewed the detailed steps of micro-punch grafting, including tissue harvesting, punch size selection, and graft density and spacing.

Dr. Nargiza, a dermatologist from Uzbekistan, visited Heal House, observed the entire micro-punch grafting process, and engaged in academic exchange.

Although the language and clinical environment differ, the commitment to seeking good treatment is similar everywhere. Dr. Nargiza, who runs a dermatology clinic in Uzbekistan, visited Heal House to observe vitiligo surgery procedures.

The observation took place inside the operating room. How to harvest the skin tissue for grafting, how to choose the punch size based on what criteria, and how to determine graft density and spacing depending on the lesion. Her focused gaze, not wanting to miss any detail refined at the fingertips, was impressive.

Dr. Jung Min Bae explained how surgery is planned according to the lesion condition, and also shared accumulated cases and post-surgery management methods. Dr. Nargiza also shared her clinical experience from her local practice, and the exchange between the two clinics continued for a long time.

Although the clinical environment and language differ, the dermatologists share the same desire to provide better treatment for patients. We hope this exchange helps offer broader treatment opportunities for vitiligo patients in Uzbekistan. Heal House will continue to share clinical experiences with dermatologists both domestically and internationally, and steadily engage in exchanges so that vitiligo treatment can develop in a safer and more meticulous direction.
