Heal House Appointed to Suwon City 1388 Youth Support Group

Certificate of appointment as '1388 Youth Support Group' awarded by Suwon Special City for ongoing medical support for youth struggling with tattoos and self-harm scars

We share the news of Heal House Suwon Branch working together with the local community so that young people do not withdraw again because of marks left on their skin.

At the 2023 Suwon Youth Counseling & Welfare Center Operation Report Conference, Heal House was appointed as a 'Suwon City 1388 Youth Support Group.' On that day, Director Jung Min Bae received the certificate of appointment from the Deputy Mayor of Suwon Special City on behalf of the clinic.

Since 2022, the Suwon Branch has been cooperating with the Suwon Youth & Young Adults Foundation to provide free removal procedures for young people who are struggling with tattoos and self-harm scars. We carefully consider the skin condition, the depth of the marks, and even the emotional burden of undergoing treatment, continuing treatment slowly at a pace and method suited to each individual.

Reducing scars is not just a treatment that changes the appearance of the skin. Because it can also provide a small help in gradually distancing oneself from past memories and regaining the courage to return to school and daily life.

We accept this appointment as both gratitude for the support provided so far and a warm request to continue working closely with the youth in the community for a long time to come.

Heal House Suwon Branch will continue to carefully look for places where medical care is needed and stand by young people so that they can look forward to the time ahead more comfortably than the marks of the past.
