Named as the sole domestic co-author of a multinational phase 2 study of a new vitiligo drug published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology
For a condition like vitiligo that requires a long journey together, news of an additional treatment option is very welcome. That news comes from a phase 2 clinical study of the new vitiligo drug ritlecitinib, recently published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). Dr. Jung Min Bae participated as a co-author in this study, unusually being the only one from South Korea to be named.
This is a study in which over 80 hospitals in the United States, Germany, Japan, and other countries observed more than 300 patients over a long period, carefully verifying how the drug works on vitiligo on the face and how safely it can be used.
A single study may not provide the same answer for everyone. However, examining data accumulated by dermatologists around the world and verifying new possibilities together serves as the foundation for advancing vitiligo treatment.
Heal House will continue to connect the concerns we encounter in our clinic with research, steadily moving forward to offer you a wider range of options.
